Once boiling, put the roughly sliced leeks into the pan. Blanch the leeks in water with the Knorr Chicken Stock Cube (you can also use Vegetable, whatever you prefer).
Pour on enough white sauce so it coats the leeks. You don’t want to drown them.
Take some chives and finely chop.
Add to the pan and mix through – voila!
If you added leftover roast chicken to this mix it would make a great pie filling! Place in an ovenproof dish, top with pastry and brush a little milk over the pastry.
