Onion sauce

The sweet tangy notes in this glossy onion sauce works a treat with cuts of pork, beef or sausages. Try drizzling it over bangers and mash, toad‐in-the-hole or as an alternative to onion gravy.

PREPARATION

To cook on the hob:
  1. Blend contents of the pack with 300ml of cold milk in a saucepan. 
  2. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly. 
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

To microwave:
  1. Using a microwaveable container, blend contents of the pack with 300ml of cold milk. 
  2. Cover and heat for 8-10minutes (650W), stirring at 1 minute intervals.
